Mel Knight

Mel Knight is a successful businessman and politician. Over 45 years, he built and ran Knight Measurement, a very successful business in process control services and facilities management. He later became an elected official and served in the Alberta Cabinet as a Minister of Energy and Minister of Sustainable Resource Development. He was involved in many policy issues related to the oil and gas, oil sands, technology, renewable energy, electricity, forestry and environmental sectors, including developing long-term strategies for the energy and forestry sectors.
