Greg has had a long and decorated career in academia where he concluded a successful, decade-long tenure of largest faculty at the University of Alberta as Dean of Science. Specializing in plant ecology, Greg earned his PhD in Biology from Queen’s University in 1983. Dr. Taylor has led numerous research projects that span four decades that primarily focus on plant-based sciences. Greg has extensive experience in research, management, operations and implementation. Under his leadership, the University of Alberta built a 50,000 square foot, state of the art facility that focuses on interdisciplinary sciences with over 1,000 undergraduate students and 500 graduate students.
