Laurie Stretch

Laurie is a senior communications and stakeholder relations consultant with 25 years of experience including agency, corporate and government roles. In senior agency positions, she led a major initiative supporting TransCanada’s Energy East project, supported stakeholder relations for a pipeline in B.C. to serve the LNG industry, and led communications efforts for CAPP, the Government of Alberta, Shell Canada, Talisman, NSolv and others. She also led the teams undertaking stakeholder mapping projects for Pembina Pipelines and CAPP. At Petro-Canada, Laurie was a founding member of the Aboriginal Relations Team, and part of the project team that built the MacKay River SAGD Project. A native Edmontonian who has lived in Calgary for 20 years, Laurie has also worked with the City of Calgary and several Calgary civic institutions.
