Bill Bewick

Bill Bewick is an Edmonton-based political consultant and public policy analyst who served as the Wildrose Official Opposition Director of Policy at the Alberta Legislature from 2010-2017, and was the Director of Policy for the UCP Caucus in 2022-23. He led the development of election platforms in 2012, 2015, and the UCP’s winning platform in 2023. With Fairness Alberta, he was the de-facto spokesperson for the Equalization referendum’s Yes campaign in 2021, and has published numerous nation-wide columns. He has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Alberta and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. He has been an American Politics Instructor at Athabasca University since 2011.
