Bill is a business leader with over 30 years of experience in the forestry industry in Canada. His career involved many senior positions including serving as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Alberta Pacific Forest Industries Inc., a $1.4 billion asset. Mr. Hunter also provided senior operations and project management for forest companies in Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Ontario and Alberta. Most recently, Bill has been involved in the development of; bio-products industry, industrial materials recycling industry, sand and gravel products as well as Indigenous capacity building. Bill is a multiple recipient as one of “Alberta’s 50 Most Influential People” (Alberta Venture Magazine) in 2002, 2007 and 2008.
