Michael had a 15 year career as an elected member of Edmonton’s City Council, representing central Edmonton. During that time, he represented Edmonton on the Board of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). Michael has significant experience with government policy and planning structures and engagement work with communities and business policy initiatives. He has acted in an advisory role to Mayor Don Iveson and is currently the Chair of the University of Alberta Board of Governors.
