Eric has substantial experience with developing and deploying algorithmic trading software. His primary area of expertise has been within the emerging area of cryptocurrency algorithmic trading, although his company, Halgo Integrated Trading Systems (HITS), has also developed projects with foreign exchange and traditional equities. Prior to his time with HITS, Eric had extensive knowledge with energy policy and broad natural resource policy, having specialized on the subject while attaining a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Alberta. Aside from his academic and more recent software development experience, Eric has a diverse background ranging from having established strong client relations, managing large projects and working alongside government and industry through public engagement projects.
